Inspired by the global education initiatives of United World Colleges and the international movement of Waldorf schools, ISK is a distributed learning high school with a Liberal Arts and Peace Studies foundation. We offer student centred, enquiry based programs which include the entire BC grade 10-12 high school graduation program as well as a diversity of dynamic independent studies and community initiatives.

ISK has its nexus in beautiful Nelson, BC, Canada, but its reach is global. We are actively cultivating links with schools across Canada and all around the world.

September 2007 was the inaugural year for our distributed learning high school program, and our doors are open to grade 10, 11 and 12 students from all over the world.
